*UPDATE* 2nd ARREST 

On Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 at 4:30pm, a second MALE JUVENILE, 16, also of Hope, AR was  arrested and charged with Battery 1st Degree and Aggravated Assault as a result of the  investigation into this shooting. 

*UPDATE* ARREST* 

On Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 at 12:38pm, a MALE JUVENILE, 16 of Hope, AR was arrested and  charged with Battery 1st Degree and Aggravated Assault as a result of the investigation into this  shooting.  

*Saturday Shooting* 

On Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at about 9:41pm, Officers from the Hope Police Department received  a call to the 100 block of North Mockingbird Street in Hope, AR in reference to a person  suffering from a gunshot wound.  

Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a juvenile male, 15, suffering from a gunshot wound.  After medical care was provided to the victim, officers and detectives found that the incident  occurred at a different location and began processing the crime scene.  

The victim was flown to a hospital outside of Hope and is in stable condition. There has been no  arrest, however the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
