Upon arrival Deputies observed a semi-tractor trailer that had collided with a Ford Mustang. Arkansas State Police was called to the scene to conduct an investigation.

According to preliminary reports, the driver of the Ford Mustang was traveling South on Melrose Lane, as she proceeded through the intersection she failed to see the 1998 Peterbilt Semi - tractor trailer that was traveling East on Highway 67. The Ford Mustang was struck by the Peterbilt.

No serious injuries were sustained. The accident was investigated by ASP Trooper Webb, with assistance from Hempstead County Deputies Rebecca Medlen-Billings and Layton Medlen.
