The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Central Little River County in southwestern Arkansas...
Northern Hempstead County in southwestern Arkansas...
Eastern Sevier County in southwestern Arkansas...
Howard County in southwestern Arkansas...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 604 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lockesburg,
or 10 miles northwest of Mineral Springs, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Bright Star, Saratoga, Silver Ridge, Ashdown, Lockesburg,
McCaskill, Ben Lomond, Oak Grove, Wilton, Geneva, Central,
Nashville, Muddy Fork, Lebanon, Mineral Springs, Center Point,
Tollette, Dierks, Provo, and Browntown.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southwestern
Arkansas.
