The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Hempstead County in southwestern Arkansas...
Nevada County in southwestern Arkansas...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 757 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located just west of Hope,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Young, Bluff City, Rosston, Willisville, Sutton, Cale, Bodcaw,
Emmet, Waterloo, Boughton, Mount Moriah, Perrytown, Morris,
Oakhaven, Laneburg, Prescott, Hope, and White Oak Lake State Park.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Arkansas.

Special Weather Statement issued April 26 at 7:41PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA

At 740 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Dierks to near Corinth to 7 miles southeast of
Nashville. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Muddy Fork, McCaskill, Center Point, Dierks, Nashville, Corinth,
Mineral Springs, and Tollette.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
