Severe thunderstorm watch in Hempstead, Nevada Counties till three Monday
The Southwest Arkansas area is in a wet weather pattern for the next three days, with storm risk today and continued rain through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Shreveport.  The following forecast was posted on their website :

Today

Showers and thunderstorms likely before 4pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight

A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 78. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday Night

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 72. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Wednesday Night

A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Thursday

Sunny, with a high near 62.
