Short-Handed Lady Jays Compete Hard, Fall Short to Emerson
Emerson- The Lady Jays headed to Emerson on Tuesday to face the Lady Pirates, who are 12-0 in conference play this season.  Although Nevada had only 5 players available on Tuesday, the Lady Jays fought hard throughout the game without any subs, but fell short as they lost to Emerson 57-30. 

All five Nevada players would score on Tuesday, as Jordin Haley led the way with 10 points. Kadiya Curry scored 8 points and Karleigh Carlton scored 7 points. Yasmine Harris added 3 points and Faith Gibbs scored 2 points. The Lady Jays are back at home on Thursday as they face Hermitage. Also, Friday night is Sr. Night in Nevada as they hsot Hampton.
