The doors at the new Hempstead County Courthouse were opened this morning so tours for the public could begin. Highlights of the tour included the new courtrooms on the third floor, the drive-thru window for paying taxes, and all of the new county offices which will now reside in one location.

SWARK.Today was on the scene and we have a sneak peek for our readers! We don't want to give too much away, though, so get by the new courthouse for the next tour! Tonight, evening tours are from 5pm to 7pm. Tomorrow, daytime tours are from 9am to 3pm.
