FAYETTEVILLE - One week after receiving the program's first No. 1 ranking in Top Drawer Soccer's top 25, Arkansas now sits atop the United Soccer Coaches poll for the first time ever.

The top-ranked Hogs (9-0-1, 4-0-0 SEC) are coming off a 2-0 week after shutting out Vanderbilt on the road and No. 23 South Carolina at Razorback Field. The Razorbacks received all 8 first-place votes.

The squad will take on No. 7 Mississippi State (9-1-0, 3-0-0 SEC) in a top-10 road showdown. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 from MSU Soccer Field. The match will be televised live on SEC Network with Alex Pearlman (play-by-play) and Marion Crowder (analyst) on the call.
