Southern Pines in Prescott cuts ribbon on a new therapy gym
A ribbon-cutting and open house took place just before the lunch hour Tuesday morning at Prescott’s Southern Pines Health & Rehab.

As burgers and hot dogs sizzled on a griddle just outside the 700 Manor Road facility, attendees were treated to a tour of the newly remodeled interior by Marketing Director Saybra Richardson who led the large group to the new therapy gym.

After she cut the ribbon to open the new room, the facility’s administrator Brittany Gray said the room was created by knocking down a wall between what had been two residency rooms and bringing in new lighting, flooring and equipment.

Visitors could also see new coats of paint on the walls and new décor throughout the facility.

Door prizes of an outdoor grill and two Cirkul flavored water cups were given away to winners of a drawing announced by Richardson. Shanta Wiley won the grill. Jamie Hillery and Ricky Reyenga won a Cirkul cup each.
