Southwest Arkansas Arts Council Joins Hope Farmers Market

The Southwest Arkansas Arts Council (SWAAC) hosted the Hospitality Table at Hope Farmers' Market this morning and brought a little art to the market. SWAAC Executive Director Jennifer Block said the arts council was delighted to be joining the farmers and vendors this week. "We are glad to partner with Farmers' Market by hosting the Hospitality table because it gives us another way to give back to the community." Block said. "Also, this is another avenue that allows us share with local citizens how the arts can bring us all together and enrich the lives of others." Council members provided snacks and treats while also sharing with market patrons information regarding SWAAC programs like the STAR Academy taking place at Hempstead Hall this week. The STAR Academy students will attend classes and practice every day this week, and their STAR performance will be Friday night at 6pm at Hempstead Hall.

Fresh, locally-grown produce, baked goods, fresh beef and eggs, plus homemade wares are available at the Hope Farmers' Market every Tuesday morning from 7am to 11am at the Hub in downtown Hope.
