The meeting will provide an opportunity for community members to share ideas and explore involvement in acting, directing, set design, costumes, or supporting the arts. This effort is being led by award-winning writer and director Freddie Parks, whose play When the World Ends recently won the Audience Choice Award at the 17th Annual New Play Festival in Tyler, Texas.
“This meeting is about listening and gathering ideas,” said Rachel Pendergraft, Executive Director of the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council. “We’re excited to see who might want to be involved as we explore the possibilities for a community theater group in Hope.”
