HOPE, Ark.
Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center has partnered with the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce for this Business After Hours event that will be held on the front lawn of the hospital. This Community Appreciation Night will be held on Tuesday, June 30, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
"We want to thank the citizens of Hempstead County for their overwhelming support for their local hospital," said Shelby Brown, Chief Administrative Officer. "This event is our opportunity to express our gratitude and celebrate what we can accomplish together as a community."
Everyone is invited to enjoy a time of fellowship with hospital staff while enjoying time together with family-friendly activities including hot dogs, snow cones, lawn games, and an opportunity to tour a Pafford ambulance and an Air One helicopter while visiting with the emergency professionals who help protect and serve our region.
More than a celebration, the event is intended to bring neighbors, businesses, healthcare professionals, and local leaders together in a relaxed setting to connect and reflect on what makes Hempstead County strong. The recent vote demonstrated the importance residents place on access to healthcare close to home and highlighted the collective desire to see those services remain available for future generations.
The family of Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center extends its sincere gratitude to the citizens of Hempstead County, as well as the many local leaders, businesses, and organizations that continue to support healthcare in our community.
