Sowell Management Finalist for RIA of the Year
RIA Intel Announces Best-of-the-Best in Financial Advisory Space

North Little Rock, AR – Sowell Management, a  privately held Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) that serves financial advisors nationwide, has been named a finalist for RIA of the Year for firms with $1B to $10B in AUM by RIA Intel and the RIA Institute, which annually pay tribute to the best in the industry in a variety of categories. In addition to being a finalist for RIA of the Year, one of Sowell Management’s advisor-partners, Kaitlyn Laney with Trek Wealth Solutions, was named a finalist in the Rising Star of the Year category.

RIA Intel is an industry publication recognized for its focus on practice management, wealth management and investing. The awards aim to recognize top performers in the industry – the people and companies changing the face of wealth management.

RIA Intel reported that this year’s pool of candidates was the largest in the awards’ three-year history, with almost 300 nominations “of the best and the brightest of wealth management,” they wrote. Winners will be announced June 5, 2024, at an awards dinner in Boston.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as a finalist,” said Bill Sowell, CEO and Founder of Sowell Management, who added, “the recognition for an award of this caliber reflects the hard work of the firm’s employees and advisor-partners.”

Sowell Management has been nationally recognized multiple times as a Top RIA by Financial Times Magazine, Barron’s Magazine, and last year Forbes/Shook ranked Sowell as one of the Top 100 RIAs in the country. Just this past month, Sowell was named a top three SEC-registered RIA firm in the country by Wealth Solutions Report. These accolades and more continue to underscore its industry-leading position and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Bill Sowell said he was thrilled, and frankly not surprised that Sowell Management advisor-partner Kaitlyn Laney was named a finalist in the Rising Star of the Year category. Laney is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) at Trek Wealth Solutions in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“Kaitlyn is driven by a mission to provide unparalleled service and is a true confidant in planning alongside her clients. She ensures a comprehensive approach to wealth management that allows her to offer tailored financial solutions,” Sowell said.

Laney, who said she is delighted to be named an award finalist, believes “the future of the financial industry lies in holistic planning, encompassing not only investments but also estate planning, asset protection, distribution planning and tax-efficient strategies,” she added.

Sowell Management is a company that transcends the scope of a traditional RIA, because the company was built by advisors for advisors. Today Sowell is a multi-faceted firm equipped with a comprehensive array of services and solutions that empower financial advisors to achieve success and sustained growth. For example, Sowell’s FLEX Connect is an end-to-end, cloud-based technology solution that empowers financial advisors to manage their practice in one place through every stage of the wealth management life cycle.

Bill Sowell is eagerly anticipating June and hopes to come out on top. However, he emphasized the company's pride in its values and dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships. "At the end of the day," he remarked, "we are proud to be a company with people who value partnerships and work hard to bring our core values to life every day. We already consider ourselves winners."
