Maverick Mills poured in 18 points to lead the way for the Bears Friday night. Grant Hudman shot the lights out, knocking down four 3-pointers, finishing the game with 15 points. Karson Hamilton continues to play at a high-level, scoring 15 points, while rebounding the ball well and playing exceptional defense. Kaleb Anderson poured in 12 points, while Jett Durham scored 10 points, as the Bears had five players in double-figures. Reese Tarver scored 4 big points in the fourth quarter for the Bears in their regional tourney clinching win over the Outlaws.
On Saturday night, the Bears took on the host Rattlers in a win and advance to the championship or lose and be the 4-seed in next weeks Regional tourney. This game went down to the wire, as the game was knotted up at 53-53, and then Maverick Mills nailed the biggest free throw of the year, sending the Bears to the championship game with a 54-53 win over Murfreesboro, as they fought back in the final quarter to clinch their biggest win of the season thus far.
Maverick Mills scored 18 more points on Saturday evening, leading Spring Hill in the scoring category. Karson Hamilton scored 12 points, Grant Hudman poured in 11 points on 3 made 3-pointers, and Jett Durham added 10 points. Kaleb Anderson and Reese Tarver each scored 2 points.
With the win Saturday, the Bears are set to play Monday night against Cutter Morning Star.
