This weekend, the Spring Hill Bass Fishing Team had another grueling weekend on Lake Ouachita as they competed in the AYTT High School and Junior High bass fishing tournament. After the dust settled from the strong winds and threatening storms on Saturday, the boys were blessed with a beautiful day on Sunday to do some Lake Ouachita fishing.

We had 3 teams place in the top 5 in the Senior High and Junior High divisions. The electrifying combo of Ethan Smillie and Christopher Hernandez battled it out to take 4th place in the junior division, while the combo of Carson Townsend and Bryson Madar fished their way into 3rd place. The team of Townsend and Madar also won Big Bass for their division! The team of Blake Townsend and Collin Morris took 5th place in the Senior High division.

We are so proud of all of our anglers for their hard work and their dedication to the Spring Hill Bass Fishing Team. A big shout out to our boat captains for keeping our anglers safe this weekend, and a big thank you to our school and our sponsors for all that you do for these young anglers.
