Acorn- The Bears began conference action this past Friday, as they traveled to Mena for a game with the Acorn Tigers. Perfection was on display as Reese Tarver tossed 6 perfect innings in Spring Hill's 11-0 run-rule victory over the Tigers. Tarver was dominant as he struck out 12 batters and the defense did a heck of a job and played perfect behind him. Karson Hamilton had a great night at the plate for the Bears with a double, single, and and RBI. Hamilton also showed off the wheels as he swiped three bags. Carson Moore played great on Friday, as he caught a perfect game and smashed 2 singles and drove in 3 runs. Reed Rothwell smacked a double and drove in a run. Brady Rhodes, Mason Moore, Maddox Dickson each had singles for the Bears. Spring Hill also drew 6 walks at the plate, as they crowded the base-paths each inning. Spring Hill improved to 1-0 in conference and is back in action on Monday as they face Dierks.
