Spring Hill Beats Bearden 9-2

Spring Hill- The Bears played host to Bearden in the battle of the Bears, with Spring Hill coming out with a 9-2 win. In a game in which neither offense scored a run until Spring Hill scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 4thinning when Karson Hamilton drove in 2 runs on a 2-out single. Spring Hill would end up scoring 2 more runs in the fifth inning and adding 4 in the 6th to win 9-2. Teyton Barton had a day at the plate for the Bears going 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Zane Minton would add 2 singles and an RBI, while Reese Tarver and Andrew Carillo each added a double. Corbin Overton threw 4 2/3 innings scattering just 4 hits and striking out 8 Bearden Bears. Carillo would finish the job on the mound for Spring Hill striking out 4 batters in 2 1/3 innings. The win brings Spring Hill’s record to 4-0 on the young season, as they travel to Glen Rose Monday for their next game.
