The Bears saw a lead that reached 17 points in the 3rd get cut down to 6 in the 4th, but the Bears continued to knock down some shots and got key stops late to secure a 64-56 win. After the game Coach Seth Taylor spoke on his first win in Spring Hill, "Tough conference, great kids and great coaches in this league, we fought and showed some resiliency to get this win, the crowd is awesome here and this atmosphere is great."
Four Bears finished the night in double-figures, as Jackson Putz led the way with 16 points. JP also had 5 steals and 4 rebounds. Luke Harper poured in 11 points and had a team high 7 rebounds. Karson Hamilton and Parker Steed each scored 10 points. Hamilton led the team in assists with 5 and brought down 6 boards, and added 3 steals. Steed had 5 rebounds. Chris Corbridge had 7 points and both Maddux Dickson and Reed Fisher each scored 2 points. Dickson had 7 total rebounds.
Spring Hill is back on the court Tuesday as they head to Mt Pine for another conference game.
