Jacksonville- The Spring Hill Junior Trap Team qualified for the State Meet last month at the Regional Meet. With over 400 Jr. Trap teams throughout the great state of Arkansas, the Jr. Bears were 1 of 64 teams in the State Trap Meet. In a knockout style bracket, Spring Hill outshot Jasper 107-84 to advance to the round of 32 as Braxton Bobo and Gage Harvel each shot a 23, Bryson Madar shot a 21, and Carson Townsend and Connor Crane each shot 20. The Bears would then advance to the next round, as they topped Paris FFA 103-93 behind some great shooting from Gage Harvel as he posted a 24/25. Carson Townsend shot a 22, Braxton Bobo 21, Bryson Madar 20, and Connor Crane 16. Spring Hill would then defeat Magnolia Jr Red 108-107 to advance to the State Quarterfinals where they would face-off against the JTT Craighead Crushers, as Gage Harvel shot a 23, Braxton Bobo and Carson Townsend each shot 22, Connor Crane 21, and Bryson Madar a 20. JTT would edge out Spring Hill in that match in the quarterfinals 114-106. Braxton Bobo shot a 23, Gage Harvel and Bryson Madar each shot a 22, Connor Crane a 20, and Carson Townsend scored a 19.

The Spring Hill Jr. Team made up of Braxton Bobo, Bryson Madar, Carson Townsend, Connor Crane, and Gage Harvel would finish their spectacular season in the Top-8. Which is remarkable to be a Top-8 squad out of over 400 teams. Emily and Justin Crane were the coaches of the Spring Hill Trap Team and they did an excellent job all year with this group. Great season from the Spring Hill squad!!
