Spring Hill Scores Four Runs in the 6th Inning to Top Hope 13-9
Spring Hill- The Bears welcomed the Bobcats to Spring Hill on Thursday night, as they have been rolling as of late, and their resilience, once again played a big role in the ending of this game. Hope Put up a 6-spot in the 5th inning to get back in the game, as they did a great job battling throughout the game, but it was the Bears 4-run 6th inning, that broke a 9-9 tie, as they figured out another way to win a game, beating Hope 13-9.

Mason Moore drove in Reese Tarver to give Spring Hill a 10-9 lead in the bottom of the 6th inning and the Bears did not look back, tacking on 3 more runs in their final at-bat.

Andrew Carrilo had a big night at the plate, with a homerun and a single, driving in 3 runs. Karson Hamilton continues to rake, as he smashed a double and a single, with 2 RBI. Mason Moore had an RBI single, and scored 4 runs. Brady Rhodes, Reese Tarver, and Colin Overton each had a single.

For the Bobcats, the top of the order was great for Hope, as the first four batters for the Bobcats all had 2-hit nights, led by Sam and Jack Johnson who both had 2 doubles. Jack had 3 RBI. Austin Courtney and Jaiden Brown each had 2 hits and both scored 2 runs. Aiden Collums-Dean had a single and 2 RBI. Trey Hoglund an RBI.

Reed Fisher picked up the win on the mound for the Bears, tossing the final 2 2/3 innings, striking out two batters.

Both teams showed a lot of fight in this one, as neither one wanted to walk off the field without a win. Spring Hill is back on diamond Friday night in Mountain Pine in a huge conference game. Hope is at home against Nashville in a conference game.
