Acorn- The Spring Hill Track Program competed in District this past Friday as the Boys Team Won the meet with 170.5 total points, beating Acorn who was 2nd place with 162 points. The Girls Track team finished in 4thplace with 60 points. Great individual performances by Layla Cantwell as she finished 2nd in 300 Hurdles to qualify for state, Cantwell also finished 3rd in the 200M. Zoey Myers finished 3rd in the 300M Hurdles. On the Boys side the 4x400 Relay finished in 2nd place and 4x800 placed 3rd. Austin Stone is headed to State in the High Jump and Triple Jump. Jaxon Smith placed 2nd in Pole Vault also qualified for State. McCall Warren won the Shot Put and Terry Tipton earned 2nd Both headed to State. Maddox Dickson had a great day placing 3rdin Discus and 5th in Shot Put. Griffen Chandler earned a trip to State in the 3200M Run by placing 2nd, Andrew Wylie finished in 3rd in that event. A lot of great finishes for Spring Hill this past Friday as they capture Back-to-Back District Titles in Boys Track. Coach Smith and Coach Kidd have the Track Program headed in the right direction. The 4x400 Relay Team consists of Tucker Runion, Jackson Putz, Karson Hamilton, and Alex Arriaga.
