Sr High Lady Saints and Jr Saints Drop Tough Games to Trinity Christian on Tuesday Night
Texarkana- The Sr. High Lady Saints dropped a tough one on Friday night to the Lady Warriors 44-35. The game was a close one, but Trinity pulled away late in the fourth to clinch the win. Kat Morris and Silbi Jones each scored 12 points to lead the way for the Lady Saints. Jones added 9 boards and had 2 blocks, while Morris added 6 rebounds. 

Gracy Martin poured in 7 points and had 3 rebounds and dished out 2 assists. Brailyn Almand drained a 3-pointer and Heaven Garcia added a free throw. Almand added 4 rebounds and Garcia had 3 rebounds. Kynlee Glass did a good job rebounding for GMCS and Baylee Pogue added a pair of rebounds and an assist. 

The Jr. Saints held a lead in the second quarter and it was back and forth the entire game, as Kason Flowers did a great job shooting the 3-ball in the first half. Flowers ended up with 10 points. The Jr. Warriors would use a big 4th quarter to pull away and beat GMCS 27-21. Brandy Edwards poured in 9 points and had 3 rebounds. Levi Burns added 2 points and had a big block. Chase Sundberg crashed the boards well for GMCS, as he finished the game with 4 rebounds, and also played some really good defense. Matthew Garcia and Haze Brown each had 2 rebounds.
