The Prescott City Council met last night for their February meeting last night and the full meeting can be watched above. Here are a few highlights.
The council approved the selection of James Stayton as the new Prescott City Attorney and Mayor Terry Oliver gave a him a warm welcome.
Jamie Hillery said during her report that there will be a ribbon cutting Thursday for Style by Heather, a new location at 122A West 2nd St. HIllery also shared with council members the new Prescott Partnership Guide & Community Directory.
Mary Godwin said that taking bids for mowing the cemetary will have to be advertised again since no one responded, but a bid for mowing downtown was accepted by the Colberts, the previous contractor, with a $50 increase per yard totalling $375 per mowing. The council approved the bid.
Godwin also shared a QR code (see below) for the council to share with the community. The code links to an interest survey for the Nevada County Hazard Mitigation Plan that must be updated every five years.
