The Hope City Board met for their first meeting of the new year tonight at the Fair Park Community Center. Soon after the meeting began, the Board went into executive session, reconvening after about 15 minutes.
Their first order of business was to elect a new mayor and vice mayor for the city. The board voted unanimously and elected Don Still as Mayor and Kiffinea Talley as Vice-Mayor.
Still and Talley were immediately sworn in the meeting resumed.
