SWARK.Today is excited to introduce Drew Gladden, community reporter and newest member of our growing team! Drew will be covering local news and sports for Hempstead and Nevada Counties. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in English Literature. As a former copy editor for the Texarkana Gazette, Drew has plenty of experience in the news business, both print and digital, and will be a wonderful addition to the SWARK.Today family.

Drew is eager to start and demonstrate those savvy skills for local citizens. “What I am most looking forward to is getting the chance to flex my writing talents while also serving the community. Sharing stories of those around you and talking about the lives of your friends and neighbors is a good way to form positive relationships with those in your area.”
