The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is investigating an apparent homicide that occurred on Linden St. Thursday night.

According to Sergeant Kristi Bennett, at approximately 8:55 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, officers from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Linden St. in reference to a possible shooting and home invasion. When they arrived, they reportedly found a man who appeared to have died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Sergeant Bennett said the man was identified as 24-year-old Devonta Biddle. Texarkana Arkansas Criminal Investigation Division (CID) are investigating his death as a homicide and are following current leads but there is no information about a suspect or motive at this time.
