Each fall, The CALL in Hempstead and Nevada Counties recognizes a key volunteer with an Outstanding Service Award. This year's award recipient is Tim Nix. "We were honored to present our 2024 Outstanding Service Award to Mr. Tim Nix during a recent Foster Care Thanksgiving Celebration hosted by Garrett Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Tim has been our go-to person since establishing our physical space. He assists with everything from wi-fi to city permits, and his willingness to help allows the work of The CALL to move forward," The CALL Director Holli Boyett said. The CALL is a local non-profit that recruits, trains and supports local foster families.
