"The CALL in Hempstead and Nevada Counties is now located at 114 S. Main in downtown Hope alongside The Charitable Christian Clinic and First Choice Pregnancy Resource Center. We are excited and prayerful that establishing a physical location downtown will help us better serve local children and families impacted by foster care. Our new physical location includes an office, meeting, and training space, our CALL freezer with meals for families as they receive new foster placements, and a small CALL Nook with hygiene items to help meet the physical needs of children in foster care,” CALL Program Coordinator Holli Boyett said.
“In 2024, our goal is to expand the CALL Nook into a full CALL Mall. Right now, our CALL Nook is only 3 shelves which limits the support we can provide and the donations we can accept. Currently, we can only provide children and families with hygiene items and a few other small items. Expanding to a full CALL Mall will mean we can provide children and families with larger items such as beds, baby gear and pajamas from our own CALL space,” Boyett said.
The CALL is open by appointment for foster families, volunteers, those interested in opening their home for foster care or adoption, and community members who wish to learn more. For an appointment call 501-607-8035 or email [email protected]
