The City of Hope Fire Department is accepting applications for Firefighter. Applicants must be 18 years of age and free of any felony convictions as well as a person of good character and reputation.  Successful applicant will be required to pass a drug test, physical, and must attend the Arkansas Fire Training Academy within one year from the date of hire. Applicants  possessing certification will be given preference.

Applications may be picked up and returned to City Hall, located at 206 W Ave A, or download the application via the City of Hope website at www.hopearkansas.net.

Starting salary is commensurate with experience and education.  The City of Hope provides health insurance to all employees and pays a portion of the employee’s family health insurance. Firefighters are enrolled in the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System.
