The City of Hope is currently accepting applications for the position of “Information Systems Support Technician”. This position works under the general direction of the GIS & Technology Coordinator and will be responsible for the various information systems in the Hope Police Department and will assist when requested for other departments within the City.Â
Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States, possess a valid driver’s license, and pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
Applicants with some/all of the following will be given priority:
Formal education equivalent of a two-year degree in Computer Science or related field and/or two years of experience in a computer related field.
GIS experience
Scope of Work:
Develops plans to ensure computer network capacity meets current and future network requirements
Maintaining existing computer equipment and programs for the City
Setup of hardware and software
Assists with maintaining security for computer networks
