City Attorney

The City Attorney performs complex executive and professional level work as legal advisor to the Mayor and City Council, City Staff and various boards and commissions of the City. The City Attorney must attend City Council meetings. This Attorney will prepare legal documents, prepare and/or review resolutions and ordinances. Maintain current awareness of legislation and issues involving municipal operations. The top priority for the City Attorney at this time is to work with City Officials and Electric Professionals and Lawyers to negotiate and end contractual problems with a power supplier.
