The Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting this afternoon for Tickled Pink Boutique at their new location, 112 W 2nd St in downtown Hope.
Owner, Jessica Williams gave a 25% in-store discount welcoming each customer with the first five that made their way to the register receiving a free gift.
Formerly located at 100 E 16th St, the quaint boutique showcases a variety of women’s brand name clothing, shoes and accessories in all the latest trends. They even have a junior collection, so if you’re looking for that perfect outfit for your little queen, they’ve got you covered. The specialty shop is beautifully laid out with eye catching pieces in every direction one can see. It's a definite must shop!
Mayor Don Still was present and he congratulated Williams on her new addition to downtown. "When I envision new shops in downtown Hope, I envision it just like this." Still said. He then officially welcomed Jessica to the downtown area.
Williams said, "I would like to thank everybody for coming out. We have prayed so long to have a place downtown so we could expand. We were on 16th Street for a little over a year, a space that we had quickly outgrown so we are especially pleased to see this dream come to fruition. I feel truly blessed to be here and I thank you all for your support."
Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Director, Christy Burns said, "I am overjoyed that so many new business are opening in Hope and I am delighted to have a unique boutique like Tickled Pink downtown."
After the ribbon was cut, locals enjoyed snacks that were served on a charcuterie board as they made their way around the establishment checking out all the fabulous apparel and hoping to get that 25% discount on already reasonable pricing.
