Executive Director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, Christy Burns, shared her pride in the group, saying, “Leadership is about people coming together, learning from one another, and stepping up to make a difference. This class has done that in such a meaningful way, and it’s exciting to see how they will continue to serve our community beyond graduation.”
Guests enjoyed refreshments as they visited with class members, who reflected on their experiences and the project they’ve worked on throughout the year.
The morning was a chance to celebrate not just the program, but also the friendships and community connections built along the way.
Applications for the 2026 Hempstead County Leadership Class are available now at the chamber office or you can request via email hopechamberdirector@gmail.com.
