The Nevada County Extension Office held Get Real at Nevada High School.
Each student received an occupation and family makeup, then visited 12 booths hosted by members of the community to make purchases  to support their family. They realized how "real life" will be! These kiddos were bragged upon by the volunteers for being polite, well mannered, and very thoughtful on their financial choices! -THANK YOU volunteers- Melvin and Evelyn Holleman, Brenda Barham, Marcia Lasiter, Lauren Brown, Reneé McClure, Eli Ratcliff, Terra  Smith, Aimee Keifer, Wendy Bailey, Laura Ward, Judy Duke, Julie Oliver, Jamie Hillery, Theresa Tyree, Mittie Malone, Nancy Smith, Susan Ellis, Shaun McKamie, Lillian Rogel, Bonnie Smith, and Tara Carlton.
