The cold snap didn’t keep the crowd away as Tiffany Cagle Boutique held a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning for a brand new location on Elm Street in Prescott. Locals gathered to admire the boutique wares such as clothing, shoes, jewelry, makeup, and other accessories that were displayed attractively around the store. Moreover, with sweater season in full swing, proprietor Tiffany Cagle demonstrated she has the merchandise to keep customers warm and coming back for more.
Cagle’s business began online at home just three years ago, and as the business flourished she opened a small store to give customers a local place to shop. Now she has taken another big step by moving to this new, larger location and she brings with her a still-growing customer base, both locally and online. Cagle shared with SWARK.Today the motivation behind the move, as well as the community's response. Cagle said, “My previous space was around 300 square feet of shopping space and now we’re at probably 900. This was an investment for the future of the business, and I hope to keep expanding. The community has been very supportive and become a very loyal customer base.”
Chamber Director Jamie Hillery thanked those in attendance for supporting the boutique and then praised Cagle’s expansion. “We are super excited for her to purchase this building, open it up, and expand her business,” Hillery said. “If you have not gotten online, she has a really big online presence. There's a lot of online shopping, but now with the bigger store she can do a lot more on a local level with the community.” Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver also commended Cagle‘s business and how she represents the city of Prescott. “I’m very proud of Tiffany.” Oliver said. “We had a statewide business forum where she was invited to talk and share her success story. She has a big online presence, and she did such a good job talking that day that everybody was bragging about Prescott. She made me feel really proud.”
