The driver, who was delivering a load of joist for New Millennium was entering I30 West from US Highway 29 and stated that the load shifted on his trailer as he accessed the on-ramp, causing his truck to flip and lose his load of steel joist.

The Arkansas State Police investigated the accident, with the Hope Fire Department on standby. Bypass Wrecker Service conducted the clean up and was able to upright the truck and remove it from the area.

Traffic was rerouted for several hours while the joist load was cleared from the roadway.
