FAYETTEVILLE -  Arkansas Coach Chris Bucknam’s men and Arkansas Coach Lance Harter’s women host the bulk of their annual John McDonnell Outdoor track meet today and this evening at John McDonnell Field.

The meet actually started Thursday with the men’s and women’s hammer throw.

Today’s meet starts in the morning with the men’s and women’s discus, with the running events going from 3:30 p.m. with the steeplechase through the 4x 400 relays at 8:15 and 8:30 p.m.

Eighteen schools including Missouri from the SEC, Oklahoma State of the Big 12, and Nebraska of the Big Ten and national power Brigham Young will compete along with instate schools Arkansas State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Arkansas-Little Rock and the University of Central Arkansas, along with the reigning SEC Outdoor champion Razorbacks men and Razorbacks women.
