“We’re thrilled to bring the Trail of Lights presented by Murphy USA back to the MAD Amphitheater this holiday season! From the dazzling lights to the festive atmosphere, we hope everyone enjoys bringing their family to visit the Trail of Lights. We’d like to thank presenting sponsor Murphy USA and all our local business sponsors. Thank you for making MAD a magical place to visit during the holidays,” said Joanna Benson, MAD marketing manager.
Trail of Lights is a family-friendly spectacle that provides a perfect way for people of all ages to get into the holiday spirit. This year, the trail has expanded with new exhibits including a prismatic section of lighted deer, trees, angels and ornaments sponsored by Restore-It Restoration & Cleaning, PotlatchDeltic, Get Rid of It of America Corp., Evers Electric Co., Inc., and Slater Repair. Also, a new giant inflatable area will be added this year. The area will include a 15-foot snow yeti and polar bear family and a 16-foot Grinch. Frosty’s Igloo has made upgrades this year adding a disco ball, fog machine, and party music. The igloo is available for private party rentals. Additional lighted pixel characters have been added including dancing elves that “floss” and “dap”.
Along with exciting new areas to explore, visitors will be delighted to see the return of beloved attractions, including the animated talking trees and ornaments sponsored by Perry’s Funeral Chapel, Emrich & Scroggins, and South Arkansas Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. The Rudolph Express sponsored by South Arkansas Regional Hospital, will run on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as November 27th and 28th. The Rudolph Express train ride promises to add an extra layer of magic for the kids as well as an inflatable slide sponsored by Flying B Rental.
The ever-popular Santa’s Mailbox sponsored by Timmins Hardware is also set to return. Children can write down their Christmas wishes for Santa, and with just a drop, their letters will be whisked away to the North Pole for the big man in red to read. Get your cameras ready, because the perfect Santa chair and trees sponsored by Diversified Services Lawn & Garden will make an enchanting backdrop for family photos.
Classic features such as whimsical inflatable characters, the dazzling lighted entrance tunnel sponsored by Roseburg Forest Products, and the charming manger scene sponsored by CARSTAR Laney’s Collision Center will also make a return, ensuring that the Trail of Lights remains a cherished tradition for families and friends alike. Other Trail of Lights sponsors include The Pool Guys, Double H Trucking, Topanga Scents, Rhea Lana of El Dorado, Newhaven Counseling & Health Services, Hudson Memorial Nursing Home, AmerCable, South Arkansas Women’s Center, HEPCO Inc., Artattack! Graphic Design, Gabe’s Cave and The Diamond Agency.
