Troop 5 Scout Melody Martinez caught this beautiful Rainbow Trout fly fishing at Dry Run Creek near Mountain Home. Staying at White Hole Resort, the Scouts fished two days catching many Rainbow and Brown Trout. They also had a fish fry of their fresh caught fish, toured the Vexus Boat Plant (established by Forrest Wood) and WAPSI Fly Company. They learned to throw axes and make their own fishing flies. White Hole Resort supplied the
lodging, guides, gear and the fish fry. T L Lauerman of WAPSI Fly supervised the fly tying class, the materials for
fishing and arranged for the fly fishing guides.
