Trunk or Treat in downtown Hope brings Halloween fun for local families
The candy may have run out fairly quickly, but the fun was a mainstay for the entirety of Trunk or Treat in downtown Hope tonight. The streets were overflowing with all manner of the magical, mystical, and paranormal, with a princess or two thrown in for good measure, at the event hosted by the City of Hope’s Advertising and Tourist Promotion Commission, Plow Boys Car Club, and Tailgaters Burger Co.

From the youngest to the oldest, all in attendance seemed to enjoy meandering from car to car to receive the tasty Halloween treats while spooky music played from speakers positioned around the block. Even three-week-old Case Brown appeared to enjoy the festivities in his ghost costume, and whole families joined in the fun as well by dressing up together to create a themed costume set (see photos below).

When asked about his favorite part of the night, five-year-old Keishon, decked out in Paw Patrol, said he liked wearing the costume. That seemed a fitting answer since the highlight of the night was the costume contest with categories ranging from infant to adult, providing a bit of creeptastic fun for the whole family to enjoy.

View the photos below to see some of the happy kiddos sporting their creative and lively costumes at the Trunk or Treat in downtown Hope tonight.
