Two Semi Trucks Collide on I30
At approximately 7:30 a.m Arkansas State Police responded to a accident near the I-30 West bound 39 mile marker. Upon arrival they observed two semi tractor trailers that had collided. Early information indicates that both trucks were traveling West, when the rear semi tractor trailer slammed into the back of the first semi tractor trailer. The rear tandems of the first trailer were damaged in the collision. The rear semi tractor appears to be a total loss. The driver of the rear semi tractor trailer was tossed into the rear sleeper area. He was transported by Nevada County-Pafford EMS to a local hospital with a possible broken arm and other injuries.

The front semi is owned by Vivio Logistics LLC and the rear semi is owned by Union Truck Lines Inc.

The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police and the Arkansas Department of Transportation Highway Police.
