University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana held its commencement ceremony last night starting at 6 p.m. in Hempstead Hall. The institution awarded 596 degrees and certifications before a near capacity audience.
Speaking at the ceremony was Christine Holt, Chancellor of the school, who described nine tips for post-graduate success, drawing on her own experiences as well as those of famous figures like Anderson Cooper and Madeleine Albright. Comments were given by Britney Alvarado, President of the UAHT Student Government Association.
The graduates were officially certified by Vice Chancellor for Academics, Laura Clark.
