UAHT hosts Chamber Community Coffee
The Hope Hempstead County Community Coffee was hosted by UAHT this morning at the chamber offices. Many locals came out to show their support for the college as they snacked on sweet and savory morsels. Mini chicken salad croissants, cucumber sandwiches, meat, and cheese platters with olives and a fruit tray, along with an array of cookies and sweet cake bites.

UAHT Foundation Director Robin Hickerson expressed enthusiasm and gratitude, saying, “I am excited as this is my first community coffee for the college. We really wanted to do the coffee here at the chamber so the downtown community could attend and not have to drive to the campus and back. This is a great opportunity for us to mingle with the community and show our thanks for their support.”

Executive Director of the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Christy Burns was present as always and said a few words about UAHT and today’s coffee: “I am so grateful that we have a college in Hope. UAHT has been a wonderful addition to our community, and they support the community in tons of ways, so we always want to do that in return."
