On Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, John Varnell from Union Pacific Railroad visited the Hempstead
County Law Enforcement Center and provided local first responders with several cases of water.
This was done in conjunction with “Hydrating Hometown Heroes” in which UPRR is partnered
with.

According to Varnell, UPRR has distributed water for the program over much of the State of
Arkansas. Thanks to Union Pacific Railroad and Hydrating Hometown Heroes for your
donation.
