For the first time in the race’s history, Sunday’s start time was pushed from 8:00 am to 6:00 am in anticipation of unseasonably warm and humid temperatures.
As of this writing, all results are still unofficial.
The following are race results and comments from top finishers:
Marathon Overall Male
Trevor Uyemura, 40, Vienna, Va.
Unofficial time: 2:42:58.8
First-time Little Rock Marathon racer Trevor Uyemura has been running, he said, since he was a kid. Uyemura took a break from running for a while and came back. The weather was better than she thought it would, she said. “It was definitely the warmest and most humid of any race I’ve run in but I have been really blessed to have colder weather in other races I’ve run.”
Smith is a member of the Little Rock Roadrunners Club, and is a passionate advocate for the running community in Central Arkansas. “Anyone can be a runner, and we welcome you,” Smith said.
