Tuesday, November 11th, will see a gathering and ceremony for Veterans Day in Memorial Plaza at the 1939 Hempstead County Courthouse starting at 11:00 a.m.  The Hope Lions Club will serve a fried catfish lunch afterward, free to vets and their spouses but $15 a meal for the rest of us
