PRESS RELEASE

On Sportsman's Sunday, September 25, starting at 10:00 a.m., the men and boys are invited to don their camouflage and compete in the following activities: ax throwing, BB gun shooting, archery, slingshooting and fishing rod casting. Those with the most points in these events will win various prizes, ranging from beef jerky to guns.

The ladies will be simultaneously having a barbecue cook-off. The first prize winner will receive $100 cash. Second place will receive $50, and third place will receive $25. The church will also will be giving away hats to the first 30 men in attendance.

There is no cost or entry fee.

Victory Baptist Church is located at 2510 Highway 174 South, a half mile past the soccer fields on Springhill Road.
