Stamps- The Volley Saints hit the road on Thursday for a match with the Lady Cougars. It was a straight-set victory for the Lady Saints 25-14, 25-22, and 25-17. Baylee Pogue was lights out at the service line, as she served up 13 aces. Pogue also added 1 kill and 2 digs. Gracy Martin had another good game this week, as she had 9 aces, 2 kills, and 3 digs. "We did not play our best tonight, but we got the win and we'll play better tomorrow," as Gracy Martin spoke to SWARK reporter Heaven Garcia after the Saints win. Heaven Garcia did a great job at libero on Thursday, as she had a team-high 7 digs. Savannah Fields had 4 aces, 2 kills, and 2 digs. Laila Santifer did a great job serving for the Volley Saints as she had 4 aces. Addy Peek had 4 digs, Brailyn Almand had 2 digs, and Katie Holland added 1 dig. Good win for GMCS and they will have a home game Friday, with the Jr. Lady Saints beginning at 4:30.
