Volley Saints Keep Rolling

Volley Saints Gmcs Volleyball

Texarkana- The GMCS Volleyball team traveled to Trinity Christian on Thursday for a match with the Warriors, the Varsity, JV, and Jr. High teams all played. The Volley Saints continued their winning ways with a victory in straight sets (25-23) (25-22) (25-14). Evan Chambless had a great day on the court with 6 aces and 3 kills. Silbi Jones played great around the net with 5 kills and also served 4 aces. Gracy Martin had 4 kills and 4 aces and Mikayla Fields was a beast around the net as well with 5 kills.

The Jr. Lady Saints Volleyball team won their match in straight sets 25-13 & 25-13. Brailyn Almand played a great game with 7 aces and 3 kills. Laila Santifer had 6 aces and Savannah Fields had 5 aces. Lexi Crane added a kill. The JV game was a hard-fought game as Trinity took the opening set 25-11, but GMCS would bounce back and take the second set 25-19. Trinity would win the final set to secure the win 15-12. The Volley Saints are back in action Friday as they play Ambassador. The Jr. High Volleyball team has a tourney this weekend.
