Volley Saints Pick Up Win over Cornerstone

Volley Saints Gmcs Volleyball

Hope- The Volley Saints earned another victory Tuesday night as the beat Cornerstone in 4 sets. GMCS won the opening set 25-20, then dropped the 2nd set 25-23. The Volley would win the next 2 sets 25-12 and 25-4 to secure the win. Charity Zumwalt had a great game with 5 aces and 3 kills. Katie Holland served 7 aces and Silbi Jones had 4 kills at the net. Evan Chambless had 4 aces and 2 kills in a grea all-around game. Baylee Pogue and Gracy Martin each had 2 aces and 2 kills.

The Jr. Saints Volleyball team won in straight sets 25-11 and 25-5. Heaven Garcia had 6 aces, Laila Santifer had 5 aces, and Blayklee Glass had 4 aces. Brialyn Almand had 2 aces and a kill, and Savannah Fields had 2 kills and an ace. The Volley Saints have Mt. Pine scheduled for Thursday.
